I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pension Donostiarra, and it was quite an experience. This charming hotel boasts an excellent location, perfectly situated between Playa de la Concha and the train station, making it easy to explore both the old town and nearby beaches. The twin beds in our recently remodeled room provided decent comfort, and I appreciated the cleanliness throughout the space, which is always a plus for me. The hotel employs a coding system instead of traditional keys, which took a bit of getting used to but ultimately offered convenience. We had two rooms for our family, conveniently located next to each other, and although basic, they met our needs. The air conditioning was a welcome feature given the warm weather. The communication before our arrival was efficient, and housekeeping was timely in assisting us with remote controls for the air conditioning. While we enjoyed our stay, the noise from the shared coffee room was disruptive early in the morning, so I'd recommend asking for a quieter room. Pension Donostiarra presented good value for the price, blending essential amenities with a prime location.
